Matimco Donations Help Caritas Manila Empower Communities

Matimco, Inc. as part of its CSR, has participated in Caritas Manila’s Segunda Mana program since 2021. Matimco has donated over 260,000 bd ft of products from floors, doors, framings, mouldings, lumber, and other products from the time the initiative started. 

Last February 13, 2023, Matimco, Inc. was awarded a Testament of Appreciation from the Caritas Manila Board for its continuous efforts to support the foundation.

Segunda Mana is the donations-in-kind program of Caritas Manila to help the poor help themselves. It is a social enterprise that collects in-kind donations. These donations are converted to cash in our Charity Outlets in order to sustain our triple bottom line development programs:

  • Fund over 5000 voc/tech and college scholars nationwide under our Youth Servant Leadership & Education Program
  • Support the livelihood of over 300 micro entrepreneurs and their families from informal sectors like BASECO and Payatas
  • Strongly promote the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)

Matimco Unveils Newest Showroom in Lipa City, Catering to a Wider Market in Batangas

Following the successful launch of Matimco House of Wood in Antipolo City, we are excited to have opened our newest showroom in Lipa City. This expansion marks a significant milestone for us, as it allows us to extend our reach and cater to a wider market in Batangas. We are dedicated to revolutionizing the wood industry, and the opening of our Lipa showroom is a testament to our commitment.

The grand opening of the showroom happened with the presence of distinguished guests and VIPs. Notable attendees included Lipa City Vice Mayor Camille Lopez, Counselor Spye Toledo, former Vice Mayor Dr. Jun Bernabe, and former UAP president, Ar. Mariethel Garing-Matabang, along with members of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Lipa Chapter. The ceremony commenced with a captivating blessing of the space, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and coin toss.

During the event, Mr. Jeffery Go, Matimco’s RT Business Development Manager, and Mr. Charlie Liu, Matimco President and CEO, delivered heartfelt speeches expressing gratitude for everyone’s hard work in bringing another premium Matimco showroom to life. Furthermore, Ar. Mariethel Garing-Matabang, the former UAP President, and Lipa Vice Mayor Camille Lopez took the spotlight to share their insights on future partnerships and collaborations.

Following the launch of Matimco’s first-ever Wood Lounge, we are up again in launching a new one! In an effort to revolutionize the wood industry, we proudly present our newest addition to the Matimco House of Wood showrooms located in Antipolo City.
The grand opening of the showroom was attended with our VIPs, including the Antipolo City mayor, Casimiro Ynares III and former UAP President, Ar. Jayson Portem. The ceremony kicked off with a stunning blessing of the space, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and an exciting coin toss.


Our company’s Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Mr. Romano Arrienda, and Vice President for Sourcing and Admin, Mr. Marlon De Vera, took center stage during the event. The crowd was left energized and enthusiastic by the inspiring speeches delivered by Mr. Marlon De Vera and Mr. Edwin Cleofe. Additionally, we were honored by the presence of Ar. Jayson Portem, who took a moment to acknowledge our partnership and the launch of the newest Matimco House of Wood showroom.
